National Cancer Institute: Implementation Science at a Glance, A Guide for Cancer Control Practitioners

The National Cancer Institute Implementation Science team designed this workbook to support the adoption, implementation, and sustainment of cancer control evidence-based interventions. However, it provides broadly applicable guidance for multiple stages of the implementation process: engaging partners, choosing and adapting an intervention, identifying and selecting implementation strategies, developing an evaluation plan, supporting program sustainability, and scaling up and de-implementing an intervention. It includes case studies, theories, frameworks, strategies, and additional resources for applying dissemination and implementation science.

National Cancer Institute: The Grid Enabled Measures Database (GEM)

The National Cancer Institute GEM supports and encourages a community of users to drive consensus on best measures and share the resulting data from use of those measures. The website offers access to over 700 unique evaluation tools.

The Community Tool Box is a global resource for free information on essential skills for building healthy communities. It offers more than 7,000 pages of practical guidance in creating change and improvement.
